and part-time positions for the stadium and the team.
Currently, Barry University’s School of Human Perfor-
mance and Leisure Sciences has students and alumni
in positions with the team in Baseball Operations,
Marketing, Merchandising, and others.
Opening a new stadium is a unique experience
in major professional sport and a once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity in sport education. HPLS is in an advan-
tageous position as the school has access to diverse
sport venues here in Miami. That experience has not
gone unrecognized by HPLS students.
Working for a Major League franchise is the aspira-
tion of many Sport Management students, and that
dream can be realized through Sport and Exercise Sci-
ences programs at Barry University.
